Booking Terms and Conditions

By making a booking with us you are confirming that you have read, understood and are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions.

All dogs must be up to date with their annual boosters and owners must provide proof of this prior to or on arrival at Denford Edge. Titre testing showing immunity will be accepted and in exceptional circumstances dogs that cannot be vaccinated for any reason may board with us providing a vet letter is supplied. We do not insist on the Kennel Cough vaccine however we do ask that if you choose to have it done you must do so at least 14 days prior to the day of arrival.

If your dog shows any signs of ill health which concerns us we will contact our vet and an appointment will be made. Our insurance will cover all costs providing it isn’t a pre-existing condition. In the event that your dog needs urgent veterinary care we will contact you and your vets to obtain your dogs medical history. By agreeing to our T&Cs you are allowing Denford Edge to acquire all necessary information from your specified veterinarian.

Animals will be accepted during normal working hours or by prior arrangement. Hours of business: Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm, Saturday 9am – 4pm, Sunday 9am – 2pm. We are closed on Bank Holidays and our opening hours change over Christmas and New Year.

Whilst your dog is boarding with us we may socialise them with suitable companions. This is done under supervision and only if we have your consent.

All boarding fees are payable by the animals owner or their agent at the time of collection. The day of arrival and collection are included in the total cost. Prices are based on the breed and size of your dog and include 20% VAT and insurance. Deposits are taken for all bookings which are non-refundable and non-transferable. These must be paid within 7 days after making the booking, if you fail to do so we may release the kennel to another client. All changes to booking
dates must be made within 7 days of the arrival date in order to not incur a charge. Any changes made after this time will still be charged at full price. If a booking is cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date you will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

Animals not collected within 4 weeks of the due date will be rehomed where possible, additional boarding and associated costs will be payable by the owner.

We reserve the right to refuse any aggressive dogs should we feel they may be a danger to our staff.

Unfortunately we cannot accept your dogs own bedding as our bedding here is changed and washed daily. We are happy to accept toys providing they are not of any sentimental value as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. These will also be washed during your dogs stay with us.

We must be informed of all health, medical and behavioural issues before boarding your dog with us or on arrival at the kennels. Full details of all/any medications must be provided to us is order for us to continue your pets treatment during their stay.

Whilst every possible care and attention is given to each animal boarded at Denford Edge, we cannot be held responsible for loss, either from illness or other cause(s).
